On 18 July 2024, Siniat South Africa reaffirmed its commitment to community development through a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing skills and uplifting local infrastructure. The Nelson Mandela Day initiative launched a specialised Drywall and Ceiling installation training program at a TVET college in Johannesburg, equipping 45 students with essential industry knowledge and practical skills to contribute meaningfully to the construction sector.
Siniat South Africa took pride in sharing its expertise and empowering communities to thrive in the construction sector. The training program aimed not only to build technical proficiency but also to inspire a spirit of innovation and excellence among the next generation of artisans.
Upon completion of the course, each student received certification from Siniat S.A., validating their proficiency in Drywall and Ceiling installation. This certification enhanced their employability and prepared them to make a significant impact in the construction field.
In alignment with their commitment to community investment, Siniat South Africa's employees collaborated on a hands-on community project at Ziphakamise Nursery and Pre School on Nelson Mandela Day, following the students' certification. The project applied their newly acquired skills, using Siniat's high-quality products for painting and clean-up activities to enhance the creche's infrastructure.
We are also grateful for the generous donations from our partners Build IT Mercury and Belgotex, which played a crucial role in ensuring the initiative's success. Their contributions made a significant difference and helped us achieve our goals for the day.
At Siniat South Africa, we believe in the power of practical knowledge and community involvement. By leveraging our products and expertise, we aim to create a lasting impact on facilities that serve as the foundation for our community's future leaders.
